The first summer after receiving my Minolta X700 for my birthday, on our drive from Rome to Lithuania, we stopped by Venice to have a nice morning stroll before continuing the journey.
The lighting was delightful, the streets murmuring with people, and smells aplenty. The result of only a few hours in such a place was that I was forever captivated. While I may feel different about Venice while I'm in a crowd of loud tourists, I still love it.
